My Trip to Washington DC

Okay, so my girlfriend is always jetsetting across the nation, meeting transvestites, homosexuals, midgets, and other cool people at every conference she goes to. When she gets back she's always showing me these pictures of her intoxicated with various people she met or her intoxicated on a karaoke stage while people are throwing the midget's underwear at her on stage.

While this is certainly cool, I started to wonder if I have as much fun at conferences. After my repeated stories about how I sat inside of my hotel room playing on the computer at the World Congress in Applied Computing in Las Vegas of all places, I decided that maybe recording some of my finer moments at one of my next conferences might make up for the seemingly bland existence all of my friends (1 - Hi Mom!) think I have.

Enter the annual OMG Real Time and Embedded Conference in Washington D.C. in 2006. Finally, my chance to show her just how cool I could be at yet another nerdy conference. Surely, this would put to rest all of those nasty rumors.
