WarCraft 3: Reign of Chaos by Blizzard Entertainment.

The hype around Blizzard's third installment of the WarCraft series has been unbelievable. With a lot of companies, such hype may come as a mixed blessing. You'll see executives of movies and games say things like "The hype was just outrageous. There was no way that we were going to please everyone." Blizzard is a different kind of company. When the pressures on, all they seem to be able to do is make excellent games. WarCraft 3 is no exception. From the graphics to the story to the gameplay, Warcraft 3 is the perfect strategy game.

Many strategy games have a tendency to make everything so complicated and tedious that there is no way that you could enjoy it. Another common let down in strategy games is a mediocre ending and cutscene animation model. Warcraft 3 is simple, easy-to-use, diverse, immense, single and multiplayer friendly, well animated, and impressive in sound, graphics, story flow, and gameplay. In fact, the only reason that I have not posted a review until months after I bought the game is because I have not been able to rip the keyboard and mouse out of my hands since I bought it.

In conclusion, buy the game. Heck, I bought the game for myself and my coworker, so we could play on the LAN during game night. If you have time to burn and an imagination to feed, this is the game for you. If you can only spare one hour a week to play video games, then you might just want to stick to Pong, or whatever else your wife let's you play :P.

On that note, let me share some of my experiences with the game...
